Tactical Recommendation
During a level-1 emergency, all members should monitor GMRS Channel 15 (462.550 MHz) as a secondary backup. Ensure your Meshtastic nodes are set to the "Long-Fast" channel profile.
Licensing Requirements
Zello is iternet based and needs no license. FRS radios also require no license but have very limited range. CB radio requires no license and has more range. For even more range, GMRS is availabel but requires a license (no testing required). Ham radio has unlimited range, but requires testing and licensing.
